A Unique Opportunity to Pick Up Your Own Penguin

This is an unmissable opportunity for you to pick up your very own beautiful penguin created by many of the North West's leading artists and have a permanent memento to enjoy for years to come. 63 of our very beautifully crafted and popular penguins take the starring role in the online auction, raising funds for charities including the Liverpool Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal and WWF, leaving a permanent legacy. From 9:00am on Wednesday 3rd February 2010, 63 Penguins will be available for you to bid on online, courtesy of Wild In Art, Sutton Kersh and Bidding for lot number 1 will close at 12:00pm on Friday 5th February 2010 and all other lots will close in lot order every 2 minutes following this.

50% of the net proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal. The beneficiaries of this Appeal are: The Alder Hey Imagine Appeal, Global Hope, Liverpool Carter’s Working Horse Monument Fund, Radio City’s Cash For Kids and Henshaw’s Society for Blind People.

25% of the net proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to WWF – UK.

Doddy, the "People's Penguin" as voted for by readers of Liverpool ECHO will also be offered in the online auction and 75% of the proceeds raised from this lot will go to Liverpool Unites.
